We present the report “Project Difference. Support for the education of pupils with learning differences” in collaboration with the UAB

On 24 January, we celebrated World Education Day by presenting the report Project Difference. Support for the education of pupils with learning differences: Implementation and Results (2020-2023) report published by the Ricardo Fisas Natura Bissé Foundation and the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB – Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona).

After 10 years of the Project Difference programme, this study has allowed us to validate the working model and its positive impact in the classroom.

One in five students in Spain face learning difficulties that can affect their academic and personal development. Our experience in educational centres together with the results gathered in this study prove that the Response to Intervention (RtI) model can make a significant difference to identifying the needs of students with learning differences.

We hope this report is another step forward, allowing teachers, families and institutions to work together and create an environment that fosters equal access to learning achievement and personal development.
