OUR WORK

Skin care during cancer treatment

Our Oncology Skin Care program treats the potential side effects of cancer therapy on the skin. We act on issues including dryness, irritation and nail changes, to minimize discomfort and enhance well-being during this time of life.

Oncology skin care professional education

We offer specialist training programs to beauty professionals, empowering them to treat the skin side effects of oncology therapies. They also learn how to support people receiving cancer treatment, to restore people’s confidence, and help them feel good.

Project Difference in the classroom

The Project Difference program trains teachers in learning differences including dyslexia, ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD), Language-Based Learning Disabilities (LBLD) and Talented and Gifted students. It helps them support children who learn differently in the classroom.

Understanding learning differences

We provide teachers and families with a range of resources and teaching materials to help them understand learning differences. The first step towards diagnosis is a sound knowledge of the differences common to modern classrooms.

Social Action

We join forces with other charities to respond to situations of vulnerability in childhood, education, natural disasters and armed conflicts.
