The Foundation in the media with the new professional module in Oncology Skin Care!
This July we have a lot to celebrate at the Foundation: we are taking a historic step! Oncology Skin Care is being added as a professional module to the Personal Image vocational training course.
In collaboration with the Department of Education and Vocational Training of the Government of Catalonia, the Foundation has trained the first 60 teachers from secondary schools throughout Catalonia, who will be able to bring oncology skin care content into their classrooms from September.
The training, which we delivered from 1 to 14 July, lasted 30 hours, divided into a theoretical part online and a practical part in person, held at IES Torre Vicens in Lleida and at our premises. The teachers rated the training an average of 9.85!
We have also created the full content of 99 teaching hours for the professional module and a platform with all the resources and guides teachers need to teach oncology skin care. Schools that teach the subject will also be able to count on us for workshops on dermo-neurosedative touch and Harmony Experience.
To present this professional module, we invited the media to two sessions, in Lleida and Cerdanyola, which were very well received, and we appeared on TV3's Telenotícies Migdia, Diari El Segre, Diari La Mañana and Tot Cerdanyola.
