Project Difference takes part in the 9th Conference on Learning Difficulties at the UOC

November 24, 2025
We are pleased to share that Project Difference participated in the 9th Conference on Learning Difficulties and Language Disorders, organized by the Open University of Catalonia (UOC) and held on Saturday, November 22.
This event brought together professionals from the fields of education, healthcare, and social services to reflect on the early detection of neurodevelopmental disorders and the key role schools play in supporting children’s learning processes.
Representing our team, Ana Yáñez, speech therapist, teacher, and pedagogue, took part in the roundtable discussion “Families and schools: how do families experience the entire process of suspicion, assessment, and intervention?”. She shared her perspective alongside Anna Gatell (pediatrician, Catalan Society of Pediatrics) and Rosa Bosch (Althaia: MIND Schools), in a session moderated by Lidia Gallego (Universitat Rovira i Virgili and mother of a child with Developmental Language Disorder), contributing the human and specialized approach that defines the project’s work with schools and families.
This participation reinforces our commitment to educational inclusion and to improving the well-being of children with learning difficulties, further promoting the social impact that, as a company, we build through the Ricardo Fisas Foundation.
