Loli Romero, volunteer for the oncology aesthetics program: “I help from the heart”

Dolores Romero Carmona is known at the Ricardo Fisas Natura Bissé Foundation as Loli. About two months ago, this volunteer with kindly and firm voice has a continuous collaboration: she coordinates the treatment agenda at the Santa Creu i Sant Pau hospital in Barcelona and at the Mutua of Terrassa. With this interview, we want that voluntary beauticians and beneficiaries of our treatments can better know this fiery woman with an inexhaustible smile.

On Monday, April the 10th, the foundation organized the ninth day of training volunteers of the oncology aesthetics program, which was attended by seven aestheticians from Catalonia (in the photo, with our two technical advisors on oncological aesthetics) and four from Madrid, Murcia and Ciudad Real, who followed the training through WebEx. The motto of the training was “The volunteer opines” and, during the midday, it was exposed different difficult situations that the volunteers can be found during their activity and was offered possible answers.

Dr. Angeles Arcusa, Chief of Oncology at Terrassa Hospital, has been one of the first professionals in the health sector to support our program. The oncology aesthetics program participates in the 32 SEME congress

The oncological aesthetics program of the Ricardo Fisas-Natura Bissé Foundation has participated in the 32nd edition of the national congress of the Spanish Society of Aesthetic Medicine, held in the Palace of Congresses and Exhibitions of Malaga, between 16 and 18 Of February. Specifically, we have participated on Saturday, February 18, at noon, in the session VIII of Oncological Aesthetic Medicine, on “Reflections of the oncologic patient“, which was moderated by Dr. Juan A. López and Dr. J. Antonio Ortega , who also spoke of the “New therapeutic targets”.

The Foundation participates in the “Second Day of training in patients with cancer” of the Stanpa Foundation

 

Last Thursday, February 2nd, the Foundation Ricardo Fisas-Natura Bissé participated in the “Second training Day in cosmetic and skin care in patients with cancer” of the Stanpa Foundation, in the own headquarters of the foundation in Barcelona. The day was attended by some twenty people, from the team of volunteers from Stanpa in Catalonia (beauticians and professional makeup artists), the staff of their employers and employees.

Eighth day of training of voluntary beauticians of the Foundation

“Can we use anti-cellulite creams?”, “what can we answer when asked which product they can use?”, “where do we redirect them when they tell us that they want to collaborate with the Foundation?”. Eight volunteers from Catalonia had asked all these questions during the eighth day of training oncological aesthetics organized by the Foundation, which was dedicated to the workshop “How to organize a workshop self-care guidelines?”, on Monday, February the 6th.

This 2017, the aestheticians will do this type of workshops in groups of up to ten people, who are sure to ask all kinds of questions.
