The Ricardo Fisas Natura Bissé Foundation has taken another step forward on the international stage by welcoming professionals from Inanna Wellness Berlin to Barcelona for training in Oncology Aesthetics.
Over three days, beauticians Chantal Däumig and Havanur Erkilic took part in theoretical and practical training focused on supporting people undergoing cancer treatment, delving into skin care and the role of emotional wellbeing in this process.
The programme combined training content with practical sessions in real-life situations, which allowed for a direct understanding of the needs of those being cared for and reinforced the importance of safe, specialised and compassionate care.
“We chose this advanced training in oncology cosmetics because we see skincare as something that goes beyond aesthetics and also has an impact on a person’s well-being,” says Chantal Däumig, a beautician at Inanna Wellness Berlin.
Havanur Erkilic also highlights the value of the experience: “We now have a better understanding of the disease, not just from a superficial perspective, but also from a deeper perspective. Furthermore, we have gained very valuable knowledge that helps us support each person in a more mindful way, because everyone is unique.”
Through initiatives such as this, the Ricardo Fisas Natura Bissé Foundation continues to promote training in oncological aesthetics and to foster an international network of professionals committed to improving the quality of life of people undergoing cancer treatment through care, wellbeing and support.
