Oncology Skin Care Treatments in hospitals and at patients’ associations

Learn about and treat the needs of your skin during this period of your life

We all know the potential side effects of oncological treatment on one’s skin and overall physical appearance. In the majority of cases, these are temporary effects with no real clinical importance. While they may seem unimportant in relation to the illness itself, evidence suggests there is a link between improved mood and improved physical appearance; this type of treatment can help restore a sense of balance. Patients are also better able to cope and comply with their medical treatments.

Our hope is that those affected by such side effects can look better so that they can feel better. When you are at ease with your physical appearance, you feel stronger. There is no reason why you should lose this feeling during an illness.
